sweet tooth

I've never been a huge fan of Valentine's Day. I often enjoyed it but I'm definitely the person who makes fun of the day instead of embracing it and all its clichés. This year I decided to be a bit different with my outlook but without going at it at full force and putting hearts on absolutely everything.

So this morning I ended baking up a storm and now have enough chocolate chip cookies to feed a small island nation. I'm giving these cookies to friends and family. I also took photos of the card I bought.

Whether you have a special someone or not, make sure you spoil yourself today. Eat chocolate, have a bubble bath, walk on the beach, kiss your dog and ask him to be your Valentines. Happy Valentine's Day lovelies!

stalking

Quite an apt name for a Valentine's post don't you think? This post doesn't really have anything to do with Valentine's Day anyway so you don't have to start getting too worried about my potential stalking habits (can you tell I'm single or?..)

The stalking part has to do with when I took my camera with me a few months back and took some borderline creepy photo's of people's houses in one of my favourite neighbourhoods, Kalk Bay. I've talked about my love for this place a few times before.

Paradoks Cat

I haven't utterly fallen in love with a picture in quite some time but luckily that first picture by paradoks cat has me whispering sweet nothings to my computer screen just in time for Valentine's Day.
