Made in the Cape

This past Saturday I found myself at Made in the Cape, an artisan goods showcase filled to the brim with local craft talent. It was such a relief to see all these locally produced goods of such an high calibre that I could actually buy there and then. Normally when I spot quirky, handcrafted pieces it's through a computer screen and the postage alone would cost me an arm and a leg.




The event takes place within Cavendish Square so you can get your ususal shopping done at Mr P and Woolies and sit down with a cuppa from Vida while still being able to feast on the designs of fellow Capetonians.
