It was always a childhood dream of mine to own a pretty shop and live above it. Life would be so simple and most importantly, your cat could follow you downstairs to work and you could spend all day, everyday together!
Toronto couple John Baker and Juli Daoust do exactly that (I'm not too sure about the cat part). They live in a beautifully renovated Victorian building that reminds me of all the Scandinavian homes I've looked at over the years and run their shop, Mjolk, from downstairs.
