Jackie and JFK

Photo of a big bunny rabbit!

Life recently published some never-before-seen photos from the Kennedy's wedding in celebration of their 60th anniversary. I've always been fascinated by these two and I think its because they really are the closest thing America has ever had to a royal family. Just look at her dress, the stately manor they had their reception in and all the high flying guests in attendance. I know there's a lot of controversy surrounding them and some of the decisions they made over the years but it's nice to just turn your brain off and indulge in the extravagance of their 1953 ceremony.

  8. I love these pictures! I used to scroll through Life's website to see the pictures they never ended up publishing from the 1950s and 60s. There's just something so magical about these pictures taken so long ago and locked away until someone dusted them off and brought them out for the world to see. Thanks so much for stopping by my blog and for your nice comment. I'm really loving your blog, and I'm excited to follow along! Hope you're having a great day!
