Taxidermy has always given me the creeps. My first reaction after I learned the meaning of the word at about age 8 was 'what? why would anyone do that?!' but after a good few years of admiring old English houses on the National Trust website I've come to see it's charm and how the eerie quality can actually be quite enticing. I still get a bit of the creeps though.
Becca Barnet is a taxidermist (among other things) who does installations for museums, shops etc. FvF gave us a glimpse into her surprisingly not super scary home.

On a side note, can you believe it's July already? In two months time I'm gonna be in Venice. Eeeeee!
