Hrystia Kaminska is a 22-year-old from Ukraine that creates elegantly simple images. She's also a master of self portraits. Usually I feel like self portraits are just glorified 'selfies' but she actually manages to take incredibly well put together photos all on her own.

An entire blog dedicated to the ampersand? Yes please! Emily Blincoe is the brain child behind this ampersand that which is basically a collection of photos (mainly of food) that incorporate the ampersand in some quirky and ingenious way. I'm simultaneously amazed and hungry now.

Yesterday we made the long trek up from Cape Town to Grahamstown for the National Arts Festival. I was here last year for the first time and now that I know what to expect I am super excited! The shows are brilliant (except for a few duds) and the people are nuts, definitely my kind of festival.

So Tuesday has turned into Monday for us down here in SA. The long weekend was fantastic, celebrating Fathers Day on Sunday and Youth Day yesterday. Shopping, yummy breakfasts and walks on the beach, it was surprisingly Summer-like. So Summer-like that I probably could've gotten away with some of these outfits from Vintalier's S/S 2013. Okay, so maybe shorts would've been a bit chilly but still, the weather was almost there.

I am an avid instagramer yet I only seem to post something once a week or so. It's rather contradictory, I know, but this doesn't mean that the rest of the time I'm not lurking in the background, being a real creeper and liking everything in sight. Because that is exactly what I am doing.

So, after extensive research, I've decided that one of my favourite instagramers has to be local lady Cari Turner. Her feed is basically a guide to coffee shops in the southern suburbs.
