Vivienne Mok + news

Vivienne Mok's latest editorial has me all kinds of giddy. It contains her usual dreamlike photos full of pastel colours and soft focus which I go crazy for every time with no fail except now she added something I hadn't seen before; pressed flowers draped across the model's face. The real (I think) flowers look like a 3D tattoo and make the images seem just that much more ethereal.

And now for the news!

I'm sorry I haven't posted since last Friday but I've been getting my life in order. This is all because I've managed to organize an au-pairing trip to Italy in September! I am so ecstatic!

I've never been outside the country so that in itself is a big deal to me but now I'm doing it all by myself which is even more daunting/exciting. I'll be staying in Italy for a month and then spending some time with family in Amsterdam. I'll definitely keep you all updated throughout the coming months but in the meantime I need to find a way to pay for my ticket; as an 18-year-old money is definitely not in abundance! I'm sure I will find some way to make it work though.
