Babette is another local fashion brand that is making a scene (in a good way).
I first saw the brand last year when I was at the Grahamstown Festival and was instantly enamoured. Barbara Lötter, the mastermind behind it all, takes vintage items and reworks them into more modern styles that flatter the figure. The idea in itself is genius, especially with a countrywide fascination with antiquated clothing, but the best part is that the clothes don't look like they've been torn apart and put back together again; they still maintain the vintage charm we're all looking for and love.
