Peter Pan

The other day I was thinking about how I hadn't posted any vintage pictures on here in a while and that's exactly when I came across these stills from the first ever film adaptation of Peter Pan.

The silent movie was released in 1924 with the role of Peter Pan being played by a woman. Those mermaid costumes caught my eye, possible Halloween costume? I think so. Although I don't know how mobile I'd be in it.

  2. awesome, awesome! Never heard of this. I alway love looking at images like this from olden times and thinking about the lives of people who are certainly no longer with us. That sounds so morbid but I mean it seriously. It's fascinating to me. Thank you for the glimpse!
