At any given time I'll be obsessed with a city. These past few months have left me daydreaming about NYC so when I found Stanley Kubrick's photos of the city in the 40s I was bouncing off the walls. This is how I picture New York in my mind which I know is unhealthy 'cause one day when I do find myself across the pond I'll be a little disappointed.. I could always invent a time machine.

P.S. I did an interview with Mr Price Fashion.
P.P.S I'm headed out tonight to watch Phantom of the Opera with my mom. Eeep (:
I have been daydreaming of NYC the past couple weeks too! Im hoping to go this year :) :) :)
ReplyDeleteI adore these photos. Wouldn't have been so fun to live back then?! The first one is my favorite.
I imagine New York as the same! Those images are beautiful, they really capture a picturesque New York and certainly reinforce the image I have in my head of New York as complete bliss!
ReplyDeleteThe images are amazing aren't they! I need to treat myself to this book when I have a bit of cash.
ReplyDeleteI have been fortunate to go to NY a couple of times and its amazing, these pictures really do grab the feel of the place:) If you ever do make it over Central park Boathouse, The New York Public Library, and Greenwich Village are my top places to visit :)
