Sweet images by Nevada-native, Gaby Jeter.

I cannot wait for September to arrive so I can take my film camera to the streets of Venice. Things are being finalised for our trip and I know it's a crime to wish away time like this but I am just unbelievably excited!

Abbey Road

I hadn't looked through Spanish brand, Kling's website in a severely long time. Seriously, the last collection I remembered was Summer 2010. So thus I had some fun this afternoon gushing over the thirteen (!!) collections I had yet to see.

One of my favourites has to be the Summer of 2012's collection, Abbey Road. Even though The Beatles can be a tad over done I'm still loving the teased hair and 'helter skelter' t-shirt.

Oh and for those of you wondering, my stall on Saturday did so much better than I thought it would! Im still a bit giddy over the fact that it went so very well.

Budding Girl

It's pictures like these that get me excited about my trip to Italy in a few months. These shots were taken by Tom Craig for Vogue Russia and feature Arizona Muse floating around the Mediterranean seaside in lightweight, printed fabrics and the most enviable cats-eye sunglasses I've seen in a while.

City Bowl Market

Photo of a big bunny rabbit!

Tomorrow I'm going to have my own little vintage stall at the City Bowl Market in town. I've been meaning to get my act together for so long now and set up a stall and I'm happy that I've finally done it! It couldn't have happened at a better time as later on this year I'm heading off to Italy for a short while and well, I desperately need some money. The prospect of Venice is finally a good enough reason for me to part with the vintage pieces I've been collecting for over four years now.

These pictures are just a teeny tiny selection of what I have. I'm definitely going to try and bring more winter weather items with me tomorrow so if you're in town please do pop in. The market runs from 9am to 2pm and can be found on 14 Hope Street in Gardens.

Spring Days

Photo of a big bunny rabbit!

Yet another online Japanese clothing store where I can't understand anything that's on their website but I do know that I want to buy almost everything they have on offer. This one is called Spring Days and I just have to warn you upon entering that you will become entirely consumed and most probably not finish that important deadline you have for tomorrow.

Happy procrastination!

Thigh Deep

Photo of a big bunny rabbit!

I'm not usually one for nakedness. I don't have any qualms against a bare bum or boob in photos but I just don't usually find myself being drawn towards those particular pictures. That's why I was a little shocked with myself when I bookmarked Caroline Mackintosh's series Thigh Deep.

Mackintosh bares all in her underwater portraits that manage to elegantly display how a simple a tool as water can be used to warp perspectives and create images that maintain a serenity and calmness to them. They also allowed me to not be shocked and frantically try and close a tab whenever a boob appeared. Actually, I think it takes guts to strip down in a place where people could walk past at any moment and instead of people chastising her for the images she should be given credit where credit is due.

The Socialite Family

Photo of a big bunny rabbit!

The Socialite Family has burst onto the blogging scene and emerged with the reputation of being the French version of FvF. Often the public perception of something can be completely off the mark but this time they seem to have it spot on. There's an abundance of well-dressed, good-looking people in their stylish homes telling us about their obscenely cool jobs. Now they've just added children to the mix.

But don't let my slightly cynical write-up confuse you 'cause I am eating their concept up just as much as the next person. In fact, I spent the greater part of my Sunday consumed by their website and the possibility of dressing my own home in a similar manner one day.
