little studio

Little Studio is the collaboration of two friends creating cheerful and happy designs that you can find on plates, pillows and paper. They're a Swedish studio who describe their work as 'Nordic happy design' which is probably the most apt phrase there is.

I hope you're all enjoying the last day of February!

Saturdays Surf

Saturdays Surf NYC is one of the raddest male clothing stores out there.

In August of 2009, Saturdays opened its flagship store in SoHo as New York's premier downtown surf shop. Determined to suit a lifestyle occupied with surfing, living and working in New York City, Saturdays began selling boards and wetsuits as well fine art and other lifestyle accessories. Today Saturdays designs and produces its own menswear line that has become synonymous with high-quality craftsmanship and traditional style.

Rebekka Seale

Rebekka Seale has been garnering more and more attention from the blogging world these past few months and rightfully so. Her hand-painted illustrations of bears, flowers, houses and all other things are filled with whimsy and a sweet nature. They allow for imperfections but I think that's what makes them endearing to so many.

Fixations of Youth

Some Polaroids of one of my favourite bloggers, Micaela of Drifter & the Gypsy, by Brandon Long. He used film from The Impossible Project and later on this week Micaela has the creator of The Impossible Project doing a little interview over on her blog.

So many collaborations by so many people! I love it when creatives come together.

Happy Monday to all of you! What do you have planned for this coming week? I'm hoping to finalize some pretty cool things but as of right now I've got to keep my mouth shut which really sucks.

House Call

It's What I'm Into is one of my favourite South African blogs. It is a collection of exponentially cool people sharing exponentially cool things.

One of their latest posts features the home of Cape Town local, Charl Edwards. He is possibly the most simultaneously stylish and organized man in existence but what with working for Elle Decoration under his belt this shouldn't come as too much of a shock. His home is personalized by his eccentric hoarding tendencies that can be seen in all the colour co-ordinated collections scattered throughout the space.

It's so refreshing to have something curated by a male featured on here don't you think?

Tina Sosna

It pains me to admit that I don't have a cat. All I want right now is a cat. Don't get me wrong, I love my dogs to bits but all that has been on my mind lately is a cute, little kitty. Just take a look at my new twitter background and you will see the extent of the crisis.

I was well into my cat state when I came across the photostream of Tina Sosna, a 19-year-old lady from Jena, Germany. Her romantic photos are filled with not only her adorable cats but other animals too and won me over immediately. The mood of her images are akin to that of a quiet, peaceful and sometimes sad dream.
