I've been following Carrie's blog for a while now and I'm sure that a lot of you do too. She is such a sweetheart with a gorgeous aesthetic which is probably one of the reasons I almost had heart palpitations (happy heart palpitations) when I discovered that she had teamed with Lucy to make Wish Magazine! That's right! A tangible piece of overtly girly goodness to hold in your hands and possibly drool on. I'm excited.

Adria Canameras is a Barcelona based photographer with exquisite work. I love when photography is stripped down and artists literally take pictures of the things they encounter every day and we get to live vicariously through their raw images. Canameras' photography is exactly that as she works sans photoshop and other editing tools. She has definitely reignited my love for Barcelona and just the Spanish culture in general.

Back in action

Hello everybody!

I'm back after my mini holiday (it was a bit longer than a week, sorry!) and well rested. The cabaret went exceptionally well and now the anticipation is building up for when we get to perform it at the National Arts Festival. Eeee, it's still a little bit unreal that that's actually happening.

Today I've found Academy's spring lookbook to share with you all. I'd love to soak up the sun in floaty dresses adorned with the perfect accessories like these ladies but it's currently a torrential downpour outside and I'm curled up in bed in my pj's. Oh well.

Nen + a mini break

Photos by the obscenely talented Nen August. She was one of my favourite photographers when I first discovered that flickr actually existed. That was about four years ago and her work has just gone uphill since then!

I'm super duper sorry for the absence of posts this week, life is hectic! I say that in every second post, I know, but it really is true. The cabaret I've been working on for the past four months has its opening night in a week so I'm thinking that for the sake of my sanity (and probably all those around me too) I'll take a little break from blogging and join you all Sunday week.
