The latest holiday lookbook of Blooming Leopold.

I always seem to take my obsession with Christmas to the next level by dressing according to the season. The other day I got myself a new top with a navy blue bow print & I can already see it becoming my favourite Christmas top. It celebrates the festivities without having 'Merry Christmas' written on it in bright red writing, I almost feel as if it's my secret that my top reminds me of Santa & sparkling lights. Oh, the little things in life! (:

Kjrsten is off on adventures across the Spanish countryside with her daughters and is documenting it superbly. I'm definitely suffering from quite a large dose of travel envy!

Hannah & Sophie

Two of my favourite ladies teamed up to take these gorgeous photos on a lazy Sunday in Brooklyn with Hannah in front of the lens and Sophie behind it. I love the idea that two friends can get together on a whim and make photo's this magical. It sort of takes away from the idea that art, especially photography, has to be this scripted thing with every detail planned out. This philosophy might also stem from the fact that I'm just incredibly lazy (:

apologies

I'm back! I cannot believe that I didn't blog for over a month & that I didn't let any of you know where I went but I was snowed down with school work & with 15 exams to write my brain sort of went into overload for a while. I wrote my last one today & I cannot be more ecstatic now that they're over! All that thinking really just makes you tired.

It's December already & that means Summer over here in South Africa & I'm definitely getting all inspired by David West's new collection. I just want all the subdued colours & every white dress I can get my hands on.







Summer also means Christmas in this crazy country so I'm off to make paper snowflakes (completely juxtaposed with the season I know but it's the thought that counts) and maybe even some harry potter themed ornaments for the tree.
