I know I'm a little young to be oogling over homewares but really how could you blame me? In other news, I've decided to join my school's rock band. A few of my friends have also joined up. I'm more of a musical singer but hey I'll try my hand at some Axl Rose if I get given the chance (:

What are you all up to this weekend? I've got the last two nights of Variety Concert tonight and tomorrow & then I might do some thrifting on Saturday morning before heading off to watch some rugby with the boys.

Back to the future

I always love seeing people thinking differently & Irina Werning does just that. She's taken old family photos & recreated them years and years later. It's amazing being able to see so clearly how people change.











Opening night went so well. The audience was really good and laughed a whole load during our skit and applauded my song (:

It's opening night tonight for my school's variety concert & I'm in three different acts; two singing and one acting. I don't normally get too nervous before a show but I've had giant butterflies in my stomach the entire day. Oh goodness.

lazy sundays & a winner

On Sundays like these all I wanna do is sleep, read, eat and play guitar in an open field with long grass and shade from the tall trees surrounding the field. But alas that shan't be happening this Sunday although I have hardly done anything besides eat cake in celebration of my brothers birthday and be happy that tomorrow is a public holiday.

Once again, Micaela has done it. Her blog, The Drifter and the Gypsy, is most definitely one of the blogs that inspired me to get my own, if not thee blog that inspired me. It's been so heartwarming to see her photography go from strength to strength & I'm sure this is not the last you'll see of her on here. This is probably one of the most heartwarming projects I've come across on the net.
Candy Chang took an abandoned house in her neighbourhood, added some chalkboard paint & turned it into something that could change a life. Why does it always seem to be that the shortest questions hit us the hardest?







Once the wall is filled, the responses are documented and the wall is wiped clean so people can start anew again. A book might also be heading our way in the future so stay tuned to Candy Chang's site.
