I absolutely adore the way he depicts woman. I know I shouldn't because he makes them look quite conceited but it's done in a way that you still love each character.

Today is my best friends birthday. I love her so much. She is the best, never complaining when I ask her to pose for the most random photo's.

We met in preschool and have been inseparable since then.

My favourite way to wear my hair. It always looks good, no matter what.

I've recently discovered the fishtail plait. IT IS AMAZING. I've been trying to do it myself with the help of youtube tutorials but I have yet to succeed. My hair only slightly resembles what it should be.

I'm going to spend the rest of my Sunday plaiting my hair.

The sun is shining & it's a Sunday. I'm not planning on doing much, a little studying here and there and then maybe going out for some ice-cream this afternoon.

Maps

Maps are one of my latest obsessions.

There are so many different things you can do with them! I'm always on the lookout for old vintage maps whenever I'm out thrifting. I really, really want an old vintage-esque world map to put on my bedroom wall above my bed like in the first picture. If any of you know a site I can buy one off it would be just dandy :D

P.S. I feel so guilty as I do not have proper sources for the last two photo's. They were all found on weheartit. If you know of any of the original sources please comment!

Winter clothing by to be adored. Thought I'd share some inspiration for the colder months for those of us who are in the Northern Hemisphere.

Mamma Mia was absolutely fantastic last night. I had to write an history & music exam today and all throughout I was humming upbeat tunes, singing about Waterloo whilst writing essays on Napoleon. If you're in Cape Town or Joburg I suggest you check it out!

I spent the day gardening and now have to scrub the dirt out from underneath my nails. It was worth it though -my little corner is really starting to take shape.

I often seem to pair things together. I like being able to associate things and figure out what works well with what. My mind is always organizing everything I do into time slots and categories. It bugs me so much yet I don't know if I'd cope if I didn't do it.

Exams start next week Thursday so I really cannot afford to have a social life this weekend.

It's almost exactly two weeks until I'll be able to laze around in a hammock with my friends and go to the beach to do absolutely nothing.

The other day my mother bought a tapestry piece very similar to the cushion in the third picture. We chopped and changed it, did some sewing and now it's a lovely little cushion on my bed. I shall take some pictures this weekend to show you (:
